I hope each of you have enjoyed your season so far. Although we try to make everything perfect at times some things just get missed.

1. No games on Saturday 5/26/12. We just missed that 5/26 is Memorial day weekend and many faimlies leave the area so the last games will be 5/19 as the schedule originally said. We have updated a few games due to coaches request for 5/19. Coaches have been previously notified of all of this but wanted an email to all to go out so parents definitely get notified.. Games this Saturday 5/12 in Lake Wales and Games 5/19 in Bartow.

2. British Soccer Camp sign-up. If you have not signed up on line yet then you would not get the free Jersey. Except we took steps to get some Jerseys shipped to us and if you sign up with me Saturday you will get a Jersey. Camp 6/18 to 6/22

3. Competitive Tryouts are Tuesday 5/29 and Thursday 5/31. Some teams will tryout on defferent days listed below. Competitve Flyer

Lake Wales Soccer Club has a soccer experience for everyone from beginner to the advanced player. We have both recreation and competitive programs. This soccer association was formed in 2004 to meet the needs of youth soccer in eastern Polk County.  The league's mission is to help increase the abilities of area girls and boys who desire to learn, grow, have fun, compete and improve their skills.  Lake Wales Soccer Club is a member of the Florida Youth Soccer Association FYSA.

Recreation Program

Fall season registration for recreation players begins in August.  Sign up by mail using the registration form to the left.  See the Fall Flyer concerning start up times and season schedule.  We have teams ranging from ages 4 to 18 both for both girls and boys. Games begin September for all ages.   Please sign up as early as possible by mail or at the complex so we can determine rosters and order uniforms.


Competitive Program

If you are still interested in playing competitive divisions please attend the upcoming team tryouts 5.29, 5.31 6-8pm and 6.2.12 9-11am or contact Robbie Shields at 676-3304 our league representative. All divisions will begin play early fall and run through 2013. For more details on this program see the competitive tab along the top of the page.

If your business is interested in sponsoring a team the amount is $275 and the name of the business goes on the jersey. Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA)

Juan Baustia and Nicolas Bellarde both attended the tryouts. Nicolas Bellarde who has been playing for Eric Maldonaldo for the last 4 yrs was the only one selected to the state team. His next step will be in July when the tryouts for the region 3 ODP team. Both of his parent's are very proud of him as well as his teammates.
